Is a Breast Augmentation with Fat Transfer Right for You?

Fat Transfer

Many women who have considered breast augmentation decide against it because they prefer not to have implants. A fat transfer breast augmentation offers a more natural, less invasive option so that patients can add fullness to their breasts without implants.

At Premier Liposuction in Las Vegas, NV, we offer a natural breast augmentation, also known as breast augmentation with fat transfer, for patients looking to reshape their breasts with or without implants. While this procedure is rising in popularity, it’s not the same as a standard breast augmentation.

Here, we discuss the details of a fat transfer breast augmentation so you can determine whether it’s right for you.

What to Expect from a Fat Transfer Breast Augmentation

Natural breast augmentation uses fat from an area of the body where there is excess and transfers it to the breasts. The procedure requires general anesthesia in most cases unless the amount of fat extracted and transferred is very small.

First, we’ll make small incisions in the area where we’re removing the fat, typically the thighs, stomach, or buttocks. Next, we’ll insert a thin tube through the incisions and gently remove excess fat. Once we remove the fat, we’ll purify it and prepare it for transfer.

After the fat is processed, we’ll inject it into the breasts in multiple places to ensure it’s evenly distributed to add volume and fullness. Since this is a multistep procedure, it can take two to four hours to complete.

How Much Volume Can You Add with a Breast Augmentation Fat Transfer?

In a traditional breast augmentation, patients can choose any size of implant to reshape their breasts. However, in natural breast augmentation, the fat transferred into the breasts needs to touch other tissue to survive.

Fat receives nutrients and oxygen from nearby tissue, so the amount of fat that will remain after the transfer depends on how much tissue is already in the breast. Generally, most patients add half a cup to a full cup size, at most, from a fat transfer breast augmentation alone.

However, you can have multiple natural breast augmentation procedures. Patients seeking an increase of two cup sizes without the look and feel of implants can have a second fat transfer.

One of the benefits of the second procedure is that now the breasts have more surface area and live fat cells to support the transferred fat, and your second procedure can add more volume than the first.

What Happens to Fat that Doesn’t Survive a Natural Breast Augmentation?

Even a flawless fat transfer breast augmentation won’t retain all the fat injected into the breasts. The fat that doesn’t survive gets flushed out of the body through the natural waste-removal process.

Why Patients Choose Fat Transfer Breast Augmentation

Natural breast augmentation procedures are increasingly popular, as many patients are less interested in implants and have concerns about their longevity.

Breast augmentation fat transfers are called natural for a reason. The procedure doesn’t introduce foreign substances, like implants, into the body. Instead, it uses your own tissue to enhance your shape.

The procedure offers other benefits as well. Here are some reasons patients are turning to fat transfer breast augmentation.

More Natural Look and Feel

Fat already exists in your breasts to give them their natural fullness. Since the procedure adds fat to the breasts, the results look and feel more genuine.

If you’re looking to add volume to your breasts but want to avoid the overly rounded appearance of some breast implants, breast augmentation fat transfer allows you to add volume without your breasts appearing too round or having an unnatural shape.

Body Reshaping

The procedure reshapes your entire figure by removing fat from one location and transferring it to another. The liposuction portion of the process slims areas with the most bulk, so you’ll end up with improved contours and fuller breasts in one procedure.

Less Scarring

Placing implants requires more significant incisions, while the fat injections performed in a natural breast augmentation are minimally invasive. In addition, the tiny incisions necessary for the liposuction procedure are almost invisible and well-hidden.

Permanent Results

While implants generally last ten to fifteen years, your fat transfer breast augmentation results are for life. As long as you maintain your general size and weight, the fat should remain in your breasts, sustaining their fullness.

More Customizable

Since we’re not using preshaped and presized implants in natural breast augmentation, the procedure is more customizable. For example, we can fix asymmetry or place the fat exactly where it will offer you the best results.

Who Is a Candidate for Breast Augmentation Fat Transfer?

Patients who seek more volume in their breasts without implants are the best candidates for breast augmentation fat transfer. In addition, some patients lack the skin tissue to place an implant and would need a tissue expansion procedure before a traditional augmentation, so a fat transfer is an obvious choice.

Other candidates for natural breast augmentation are those whose breasts are:

  • Smaller in size
  • Asymmetrical
  • Have reduced volume due to pregnancy or weight loss

Additionally, the ideal candidate will be in overall good health and have enough excess fat elsewhere in their body to supply the transfer.

How Body Fat Transfers Can Improve Your Figure

Fat Transfer

Some people gain weight in places that match their ideal body image. But for a lot of people, this just doesn’t happen. If you feel like you gain fat in undesirable areas, like your abdomen, you are not alone.

With body fat transfers, you can reshape your physique and get the look you want. Here’s how we can use fat transfers for natural breast augmentation and butt augmentation.

Step 1: Remove Unwanted Fat

The first step of our fat transfer procedure is to surgically remove unwanted body fat. We use liposuction to remove stubborn fat from one or more areas of your body. Depending on your aesthetic goals, we can take fat from your abdominal area, waist, lower back, hips, or thighs.

These areas tend to hold on to stubborn subcutaneous fat. This means that no matter how much you exercise, you may not be able to tone these areas. Subcutaneous fat settles underneath your skin’s surface and creates an unshapely appearance. If you want to slim certain areas while enhancing other parts of your body, fat transfers are for you.

Step 2: Process the Fat

We have to process your body fat before injecting it into the desired areas. When we remove unwanted fat, some bodily fluids come with it. After we suction out your fat, we put the contents into a special machine called a centrifuge. This machine spins the mixture at high speeds to separate other fluids from your body fat.

Once we have purified body fat, we prepare for the injection process. Some patients wish to increase the size of their breasts and buttocks in one procedure. Others may choose one area to focus on. No matter what your goals are, we can help you achieve your desired physique with fat transfers.

Step 3: Inject and Augment Your Breasts and Buttocks

Fat transfers are wonderful for natural breast augmentation and butt augmentation. We inject your body fat into these areas to increase their size. If you want a figure shaped more like an hourglass, breast and butt augmentation will help you achieve that goal.

We do not usually need to make incisions to transfer the fat to your breasts and buttocks. We use injection techniques to make your results look naturally enhanced. By the end of the fat transfer procedure, you will have larger breasts and buttocks and a smaller midsection.

Recovery Process

Since this is a surgical procedure, you will need at least one week at home to recover afterward. Arrange for a ride home after your surgery. It is a good idea to get help with childcare during your first week after surgery. This will allow you to rest and recover so your body can heal more quickly.

After one week, you should be able to return to work and school as normal. If you have any questions or concerns during your recovery, you can always call our office. We are happy to help you make the most of your body fat transfer results.

When Will You See Results?

Most patients notice positive differences in their figures immediately after their surgeries. You will start to see your improved body shape within a few weeks to a month after your surgery.

It will take around six months to see the full results in all of their glory. This is because the fat has to have time to settle into its natural shape in the injection areas.

To maintain your results, we highly recommend staying in shape. This means committing to regular exercise and a healthy diet. Fat transfer results are only as permanent as your lifestyle allows them to be. If you keep up with your health and fitness, you can enjoy your improved physique for years to come.

The Benefits of Body Fat Transfers

We specialize in liposuction procedures. If you want to change your body shape for the better using your own unwanted fat, body fat transfers are the way to go. But why choose fat transfers over traditional liposuction alone? There are numerous benefits to getting a fat transfer.

Refine Your Physique

Liposuction alone does not augment other areas of your body. If you want to enhance your breasts and buttocks while also removing stubborn body fat, you must get a fat transfer.

When performed alone, liposuction only removes fat. But when combined with fat injections, it can reshape your physique. You could achieve the aesthetic results you have always wanted with fat transfer surgery.

Slim Your Figure

Fat transfers have a flattering, slimming effect on your overall figure. Even though we inject the extra fat into other parts of your body, the areas of fat removal still look more trim. This means you can appear slimmer and more toned while augmenting other parts of your body.

Enhance Your Fitness Results

Perhaps you have been doing specific exercises while trying to achieve a certain body shape. This procedure will enhance those results to give you the figure you want. You can enhance your breasts and buttocks more quickly with fat transfer procedures. Then you can enjoy your improved physique and see real fitness results.

Get a Fat Transfer in Las Vegas, NV

Are you tired of gaining fat where you don’t want it? Do you want to improve your overall figure? Come to Premier Liposuction in Las Vegas, NV. We specialize in liposuction procedures to slim and enhance your physique.

You can get the body you want with one simple procedure. Call our office to book your appointment for a fat transfer consultation today!

BBL Vs Implants: What’s Best to Enhance Your Butt?

Body Contouring, Fat Transfer

In the last ten years, the concept of the perfect backside has dramatically changed. Nowadays, people can choose between a BBL vs implants, with the BBL considered a safer choice.

Since Kim Kardashian and Nicky Minaj started to gain attention in 2011,  a bigger, round, and more voluptuous derriere has made quite an entrance in the imagery of many women worldwide.

The big booty trend is far from being just a fad. It’s part of a bigger, more inclusive, and diverse beauty concept.

Butt enhancement is one of the most sought-after cosmetic surgery treatments. It can help you achieve a better and fuller shape, make you feel more confident, improve how your clothes fit and your overall look with many outfits.

How does a BBL vs implants compare in terms of techniques, benefits, and outcomes?

What is a BBL?

Brazilian Butt lift is a surgical procedure that uses a fat transfer technique to shape a bigger and rounder buttock.

It is performed under general anesthesia, and liposuction is performed first. Surgeons extract unwanted fat cells from other areas of your body, such as the thighs, abdomen, or lower back. They then filter and inject that fat into different parts and depths of your backside.

The plastic surgeon and doctor’s expertise are fundamental for a great and natural outcome.

What are the benefits of having a BBL vs Implants?

The Brazilian butt lift procedure has many positive outcomes:

  • Achieve a natural look and feel
  • Have less risk of complications and scarring
  • Get two procedures in one
  • Receive quick results and recovery time

A natural look and feel

Since fat cells create glute augmentation, your bum won’t look fake with an irregular shape. People will unlikely notice you have undergone a cosmetic procedure.

Less risk and scarring

BBL uses your own cells so there is no risk of rejection and a much lower risk of infection. Scars are also minimal, as only tiny incisions are necessary.

Two procedures in one

Liposuction is performed on other body parts with a fat transfer, allowing you to achieve better body contour and proportions.

Faster recovery

As a less invasive procedure, recovery after a Brazilian Butt Lift is relatively quick, and you can go back to your normal activities after 10 days on average.

What Are Butt Implants?

Implants for butt enhancement are silicon prostheses, similar to those used for breast augmentation but more resistant, and come in different shapes and sizes.

After sedation, the doctor makes an incision in the lower part of your glutes close to your thighs, or at the top, close to your back, or between your “cheeks.”

Implants are then inserted into the muscle, subfascial gluteal augmentation, or above the muscle. This has become rarer nowadays due to the increased rate of complications.

The incisions are closed with sutures, and scars should reduce with time. Implant results are visible right after the procedure.

What are the benefits of implants?

Sometimes implants are the only possible option to improve the shape and size of your buttock.

If you are very skinny or want to achieve a curvy plus size, implants could be ideal.

However, a careful evaluation should be carried out by your surgeon when assessing your case.

Gluteal Implants risks can outweigh benefits

The insertion of implants is a more risky operation, and you need to be prepared for all the possible outcomes.

Although swelling and bruising are common post-op symptoms for both BBL and implants, the latter can lead to more severe complications, such as:

  • Infection due to poor incision site aftercare or device rejection
  • Capsular contraction, where scar tissues form around the implant
  • Incisional separation, especially for bigger implants
  • Seromas, fluids building up in your bum
  • Implant shifting, especially if the prosthesis is inserted above the muscle

Implant shifting is especially likely if the prosthesis is inserted above the muscle. It can easily move over time, causing discomfort or changing the look of your glutes

Why Choose a BBL vs Implants?

Considered a safer option, a BBL procedure offers a more natural result with a quicker recovery time.

If you are keen to make your backside look more voluptuous and curvy, it is important you know what each procedure entails.

If you would like to discuss BBL surgery with Premier Liposuction, you can book a consultation with our board-certified liposuction doctors.

Types of Fat [Video]

Fat Transfer, Liposuction

Hi, this is Dr. Adams from Premier Liposuction.

What are the different types of fat?

There are three main types of fat: white fat, brown fat, and finally, beige fat or bright fat.

The first kind is white fat. This fat you’ll find all over the body. You’ll find it in your belly, in your arms and your thighs-pretty much everywhere. The function of this fat is to store energy for when your body needs it later.

As with almost anything, it’s good to have a certain amount of this fat. But too much can be harmful to your body.

The second kind of fat is brown fat. Now this fat, while it is present in adults, is more common in children and infants. And the function of this fat is to burn fatty acids and generate heat.

Finally, the third kind of fat is called beige fat or bright fat. And this is kind of in between the white and the brown, hence the term beige.

The function of this fat, while still under research, seems to be more to help storing and releasing enzymes and hormones that help in general body functions.

What are the different layers of fat?

Now, all of these fats are generally stored in two layers of the body, the subcutaneous and the visceral. The subcutaneous is the area just below the skin. And that’s what we call the pinchable fat. That’s the area we’re going to be attacking during liposuction. It’s a combination of white, brown, and beige fat. But, you won’t know that during the procedure.

The other layer of fat is called visceral fat. This fat’s deeper down and generally surrounds the organs such as your liver, your kidneys, and your heart.

As I was saying with the white fat, it’s good to have a certain amount of this fat in this layer. But, too much can be harmful, especially too much visceral fat can be harmful. It can lead to risk of diabetes, high blood pressure, artery disease or kidney disease.

So that’s a quick rundown of different types of fat and different layers of fat. Thanks for tuning in and I’ll catch you later.

What Is a Fat Transfer? [Video]

Fat Transfer, Liposuction

What Is a Fat Transfer?

Hi, this is Dr. Adams from Premier Liposuction. What is a fat transfer? In its most basic form, a fat transfer is taking fat from one area of the body and introducing it to another area of the body. The most common areas we do fat transfers are the breasts and buttocks.

We also do fat transfers to the hands, face, and essentially any area that needs a little bit more volume.

Now, fat transfer to the buttocks, commonly referred to as a BBL, is all the craze in the media. It generally requires about 800 CCs to 1000 CCs of good quality fat to achieve optimal results. The procedure itself is very simple and straightforward.

After we aspirate the fat, we collect it in a special container that helps separate the good quality fat from the stuff we don’t need. Then, we use a special fat transfer gun and a cannula and we introduce it into the affected areas.

The procedure itself is quick, painless, and efficient. We here at Premier Liposuction think the fat transfers are a great natural solution to a very common problem. Thanks for tuning in. And I’ll catch you soon!

Tired of Long Sleeves? How to Get Rid of Arm Flab for Good

Fat Transfer

Are you trying to get rid of arm flab? You are not alone. According to the CDC, approximately 66.7% of adults in the US have a hard time losing their extra body fat. Now with COVID-19 and gym restrictions, it’s even harder to lose those extra pounds and get rid of arm flab.

Everyone’s body has stubborn pockets of fat distribution. No matter how lean you get, there will always be a stubborn area where the fat will just not go away.

Are you trying to get rid of arm flab and having a difficult time doing so? Read on to learn how to get rid of arm flab once and for all.

Fat Transfer Surgery

Fat transfer surgery enables you to transfer all the stubborn areas of fat that grow in the wrong places to the areas that you need a bit more volume. This ultimately improves the appearance of your physique and helps you to reach your body goals.

This surgical process is also known as fat grafting. Your surgeon will surgically remove fat from one area of your body (such as your arm), process it, and then inject it back into your desired area of focus. The results are seamless and completely natural, and according to testimonials, our customers have never been happier.

Aside from your arms, the most popular areas for fat grafting are:

  • Abdomen
  • Stomach
  • Waist
  • Thighs
  • Hips
  • Lower back
  • Breasts

The most common areas for redistribution are the breasts and buttocks. Since this is a surgical operation, the recovery time is approximately one month. Afterward, you’ll be ready to show off your new and improved physique.

Vaser Liposuction

Some areas of the body are difficult to improve no matter how much you exercise and eat right. This can feel quite defeating when you feel that you have done everything possible.

Thankfully, Vaser liposuction can help you get rid of pesky fatty areas once and for all.

Vaser liposuction is a minimally-invasive procedure that uses specialized ultrasound technology to send out sound waves at a specific frequency that break down stubborn fat cells.

This procedure is much less forceful than traditional or tumescent liposuction. Patients experience less pain and a shorter recovery time.

Vaser liposuction is perfect for those who have been on a weight loss journey but still have stubborn arm flab and abdominal fat. After the procedure, you will finally be able to see the results of your hard work with diet and exercise.

Body Sculpting and Contouring

If you’ve worked hard in the gym and eaten all the right foods but still can’t drop those last 10 stubborn pounds, body sculpting can help.

Body sculpting tightens up unwanted pockets of fat and helps you achieve the toned body you’ve worked hard for.

This procedure is perfect for athletic people already healthy and close to their fitness goals, aside from annoying areas of fat on their abdomen, waist, or arms.

Commit Yourself To A Fitness Routine

Following the proper routine after your procedure will help you recover quicker, lose arm flab, raise your confidence, and help you live a healthier life. Nothing will ever replace exercise and a healthy diet as the best way to lose unwanted weight. Our procedures help put you in a position for success and get you to a place you’re happy with, but you should still plan on putting in the work needed to maintain your results.

Here are some things you can do to tone your arms and keep off the unwanted weight and arm flab after your procedure.

Lift Weights

Muscle is denser than fat, has a higher metabolic rate, and helps you to achieve that overall “toned” look you are searching for. This means that you must do more than cardio. You should start lifting weights as well.

Some exercises to get rid of arm flab include:

  • Triceps dips
  • Overhead extensions
  • Triceps kickbacks
  • Triceps or triangle (narrow) pushups
  • Boxing
  • Rowing machine

According to research from the Korean Diabetes Journal, the more resistance training you do, the more fat you will burn.

Eat a Proper Diet

You could have every procedure possible and exercise all the time, but without a healthy diet, you will never see the fat-loss results you desire.

Think of food as fuel for your body, just like gas is for a vehicle. If you put horrible fuel into your car, it will eventually break down. The same principle applies to your body.

If you fuel your body with the right macro and micronutrients, you will begin to see the weight-loss results you desire.

This includes:

  • Lean sources of protein to keep up the muscle mass
  • Nourishing your body with a wide range of phytonutrients from different vegetables
  • Increasing your fiber intake
  • Consuming complex carbohydrates such as whole grains, quinoa, and oats.
  • Getting enough healthy fats in your diet from avocados, olive oil, nuts, fatty fish, and coconut oil.

Not only will you notice more fat loss, but you will also notice a boost in your overall health including more energy, mental clarity, and a stronger immune system.

Liposuction for Weight Loss is a Myth: But Here Are the Benefits

Fat Transfer, Liposuction, Weight Loss

Getting liposuction for weight loss is one of the most common reasons people seek it out. Liposuction for weight loss is a myth but here are five major reasons to get lipo.

After dressing to impress, you look in the mirror for a final assessment. You love your hair, your makeup, and your dress. But your stomach is an eyesore to you, and you wish you could do something about it.

Fortunately, liposuction for weight loss may be all you need to achieve the stomach you want. In fact, nearly 260,000 people throughout the United States opted for liposuction in 2018 to accomplish their aesthetic aims that.

Before Considering Liposuction for Weight Loss

  • Liposuction is an aesthetic procedure, targeting hard-to-get-rid-of areas and serving as a route to define or shape your body the way you want it.
  • Liposuction is not typically considered an overall weight-loss method or a weight loss alternative.
  • By law, cosmetic surgeons are only allowed to remove 5.5 liters of fat. If your doctor says otherwise, we strongly suggest you seek a second opinion.
  • If you are overweight, you’re likely to lose more weight through exercise and diet or through bariatric procedures like gastric bypass surgery.

Still not sure if liposuction is for you? Here are five major reasons to get lipo.

Let’s jump in!

1. Increase Your Confidence

One of the biggest reasons to get liposuction is to boost your self-confidence.

You may be dealing with stubborn fat pockets, even after already losing a significant amount of weight. This can no doubt be embarrassing. In fact, you may even feel that all of the effort you put into losing your weight was in vain.

Fortunately, with liposuction, you can finally feel sexy, attractive, and confident. In fact, you may also experience more energy following your surgery.

In addition, once you undergo liposuction, other people can see your body’s natural beauty. They’ll also see that you have indeed made some responsible and praiseworthy lifestyle choices.

After undergoing liposuction, you’ll likely be able to tell a huge difference in how your clothing fits. Both you and other people will no longer see the aggravating bulges you have had to put up with for years.

In addition, you may notice a loss in inches. This means you’ll have many more options while shopping for swimsuits and other clothes. You’ll be proud to show off the new shape of your body.

All in all, lipo is an effective and safe procedure for achieving your unique body image objectives. It’s better than diet fads that may end up wreaking havoc on your body.

2. Enhance Your Health

Another reason to choose liposuction is that it can decrease the fat cells, or triglycerides, in your blood.

Your body produces these cells naturally. However, having too many of these cells can increase your heart disease risk. So, by removing these cells through liposuction, you immediately increase your heart health.

Note, though, that after lipo removes your fat cells in an area, new fat cells may return to that area. For this reason, it is critical that you continue to exercise and eat a proper diet following your procedure.

The reality is, your body becomes accustomed to your normal routine each day. For instance, it becomes used to sitting behind a computer screen at work, or lounging on the couch at night.

However, by keeping your body in a constant state of activity following your lipo treatment, you can keep new fat cells from forming. And as a result, you can maintain the healthy body you want long term.

3. Get Rid of Trouble Spots Quickly

Liposuction won’t remove fat from all parts of the body. However, it can come in handy for treating specific parts of your body.

What’s great about lipo is that it can easily target stubborn fat in your stomach, back, upper arms, and thighs. You can also use liposuction to treat the area beneath your chin.

In today’s hectic world, you may find it difficult to achieve your dream look in a section of your body right away. After all, even if a person eats right and works out in the gym each day, it may take them years to achieve their weight goals.

However, lipo can instantly deliver to you the results you want.

What makes liposuction stand out is that recovering from this procedure is relatively simple. As a result, it is not only quick but also safe. Recovering from lipo treatment in a large area may take about two weeks, whereas it may take just a handful of days for a small area.

4. Stimulate Collagen Growth

The latest laser-based lipo techniques also have the potential to stimulate collagen growth in your body.

The benefit of collagen, a protein, is that it keeps your skin wrinkle-free and firm. Your body naturally generates this protein, but as you get older, the production of collagen starts to slow down. As a result, you develop sagging skin and wrinkles.

However, laser-based liposuction enables you to enjoy more youthful-looking skin, along with a younger-looking body.

5. Give Your Body a New Shape

Yet another reason to choose liposuction is that it helps with reshaping your body. Not only can you have fat removed, but you can also have your fat transferred to another area of the body. The most common transfers are those to the buttocks or breasts, serving as a more natural solution than foreign implants.

Let’s say your body is at its ideal weight. You still might not be happy with your body’s figure. For example, you might be carrying too much weight in the hips or upper arms.

Since you’re already at the ideal weight for your body, there’s no way you can eliminate this fat yourself. However, liposuction lets you achieve a body that is more proportionate without weight loss or an unhealthy diet.

How We Can Help with Liposuction for Weight Loss

We are proud to offer top-of-the-line liposuction services in Las Vegas, giving you the ideal body image you desire. As mentioned, if you are overweight, you’re likely to lose more weight through a disciplined exercise and diet regimen, or through bariatric procedures.

We use the cutting-edge VASERlipo Surgical System to provide patients with the exceptional results they are looking for. This laser system’s ultrasound energy will separate your fat cells safely and gently while also preserving the connective tissues, nerves, blood vessels, and fat.

The result? You’ll experience significantly less bleeding and much more skin tightening and retraction than you would with traditional lipo.

Get in touch with us to learn more about how liposuction for weight loss can help you to achieve your dream body this spring.
