Here are nine of the most common VASER liposuction myths out there.

1. Vaser Lipo Is Dangerous

Every kind of surgery carries some risk. But while many believe that liposuction can be dangerous, VASER liposuction procedures have actually become very sophisticated and reliable.

When performed by a knowledgeable and board-certified plastic surgeon, liposuction can be as safe and effective as any other surgical treatment. As long as the patient follows the supportive post-surgical instructions too.

2. The Procedure Is Painful

Typically, you will be awake during a VASER liposuction procedure. You may feel a bit of pressure initially, but the procedure is minimally-invasive and virtually painless.
